Ist Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference “Preservation of Natural Heritage and Environmental Strategy of Industrial Enterprises”

31 October 2023 On October 26-27, the 1st Interregional scientific and practical conference “Preservation of natural reserve heritage and environmental strategy of industrial enterprises” was held in Stavropol. The conference discussed issues of expanding interaction between industrial enterprises and executive authorities, public environmental organizations in the field of ecology and rational environmental management, management of specially protected natural areas; exchange of experience on issues of conservation of natural heritage, development of environmental education and educational tourism; organization of scientific research, support of environmental volunteer projects. I gave a report: “Preservation and study of biological diversity in protected areas of the BIN RAS using the example of the Irises collection.” The study is devoted to various features of working with the Iridaceae. Possibilities for its development and prospects for use: decorative, economic and scientific significance, as well as preservation of the gene pool and education.
